When we first met Nate and Caroline for their engagement shoot, we had no idea that the Covid-19 pandemic would arrive and completely change their wedding plans. In the state, where the whole world was in panic mode and cancelling their wedding plans, Nate and Caroline are such laid-back, down to earth humans.
They decided to stay committed to their wedding date and instead of their large wedding, they opted for an intimate backyard ceremony with their parents and closest friends.
In the heart of nature, surrounded by trees and greenery, it could not have felt more romantic. Everyone got to witness the beauty in simplicity. As glorious as the big weddings look, we are really starting to acknowledge and embrace the intimate moments of tying the knot. COVID has birthed a new tradition of focusing on things that really matter. There’s far less pressure of sticking to a strict schedule and more on enjoying & going with the flow.
Nothing brings more joy and peace to us than watching two people pledging their lives to each other, and two families becoming one. It was our absolute pleasure to be able to capture love and celebration, in amidst of fear and world panic.
